Ich bin Michael Gehrlein, geboren 1969 in Karlsruhe und von Kindesbeinen an leidenschaftlicher Drummer und Percussionist aus Ettlingen-Bruchhausen bei Karlsruhe. Geprägt von Pink Floyd, Genesis, Alan Parsons Project, Toto, Supertramp, Manfred Mann und Meat Loaf zählt zu meinen Favoriten der klassische Rock bzw. Art-Rock mit progressivem Einschlag.
Ich bin Gründungsmitglied der Tribute-Projekte "genFloyd" (2019-2024) und "Meet Love" - Deutschlands erfolgreichste Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf Tribute Show, (gegründet 2022). Seit 2025 bin ich festes Mitglied im Ensemble des Erfolgsprojekts "Dark Side Of The Moon" des Kammertheaters Karlsruhe.

I am Michael Gehrlein, born in Karlsruhe in 1969 and have been a passionate drummer and percussionist since childhood from Ettlingen-Bruchhausen near Karlsruhe, Germany. Influenced by Pink Floyd, Genesis, Alan Parsons Project, Toto, Supertramp Manfred Mann and Meat Loaf, my favorites include classic rock or art rock with a progressive twist.
I am a founding member of the tribute projects "genFloyd" (2019-2024) and "Meet Love" - Germany´s #1 Jim Steinman and Meat Loaf Tribute Show,  (founded 2022). Since 2025 I have been a permanent member of the ensemble of the successful project "Dark Side Of The Moon" at the Kammertheater Karlsruhe.
